His first show with the band. Lot's of first songs as well including Comes A Time, Tennessee Jed, OMSN, Ramble On Rose, Mexicali Blues. Brown Eyed Women and Jack Straw. Some of these would change as Jack Straw is not a duet, just Bobby singing, Comes A Time has an extra set of lyrics and Tenn Jed is played with a more upbeat tempo (which i prefer).

I think Keith made a nice debut although they seem to really catch fire in November. Armed with these new songs, the new guy on piano, and the return of Pig in December, the stage was set for '72....

(damn my typing sucked this morning)

I love that from the start Keith gets to honky-tonkying it up right out of the gates with Bertha. Nothing like getting thrown into the Lion's Den to establish your space.

Excellent, Senor Bow - I've probably offered this one up for consideration several times here. It's one of my very favourite shows, always to be found close to hand in the regular-play CD heap. There's a real good times feeling about it. And I love that rough around the edges T. Jed too!

I wrote a review about this one 2 years ago, but decided that it was worthy of another shout out. Interestingly when i wrote that review in 2007, this show was not available for streaming. That was at the end of the 2 year period when there was no new uploads here and shows like this one and all of the Europe '72 kept mysteriously disappearing. Easy to forget how fortunate we are here.
